Choco-Cloud Smoothie
The first time I tried this smoothie, I immediately fell in love.
It had the rich, velvety consistency of a classic milkshake—but it was made entirely from whole, nourishing ingredients. The Choco Cloud Smoothie is packed with micronutrients and gives your body a gentle boost while satisfying your sweet tooth in the most feel-good way.
Frozen bananas and Medjool dates bring natural sweetness and energy, while rolled oats add fiber to keep you feeling full for hours. Cacao powder delivers antioxidants and mood-lifting benefits, and plant-based protein helps support energy and recovery. A touch of cinnamon adds just the right amount of warmth and comfort—making this smoothie more than a treat. It’s functional, everyday nourishment that feels like dessert.
Ingredients:
2 frozen ripe bananas
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (plant-based)
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa or cacao powder
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant milk you love)
2 soft Medjool dates, pitted
2 tbsp rolled oats
A dash of cinnamon (optional but cozy)
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy. If you want it thinner, add more almond milk; if you want it thicker, add a few ice cubes or a handful of frozen cauliflower rice for extra creaminess.
Taste and adjust—add more cocoa for richness, cinnamon for warmth, or another date if you need extra sweetness.
Pour into a glass, sprinkle a little cinnamon or cacao powder on top (optional), and enjoy slowly.
Why I Love It:
This shake has become one of my favorite ways to satisfy a chocolate craving and give my body something that feels good. The bananas and dates add natural sweetness, the oats help keep you full, and the protein powder + cocoa bring that rich, chocolatey flavor that tastes like dessert—but it’s totally nourishing.
